Gajec Terminal

The construction area of the Gajec terminal is located on the route of the 2nd Corridor of the TEN-T network, i.e. North Sea-Baltic Sea, connecting the most important ports in Europe by all available modes of transport with particular emphasis on multimodal connections operated with the aid of intermodal transport. The terminal will have the capacity to handle up to 240000 containers per year. It will be able to receive 8 trains of up to 750 meters per day. The excellent location of the terminal in the immediate vicinity of the CE-20 railroad line, the C-65 (Oder-River) railroad line and the A-2 highway at a distance of 6 km provides an ideal base for handling East-West trade – serving as a bridge between the countries of the European Union and Russia and China. In addition to the terminal, modern high-storage warehouses with a total area of 83,000m2 will be built on a plot of over 26ha.
